Intake

Our specially-trained 'intake trainers' will be glad to make an appointment to discuss your requirements and objectives:

• What do you wish to achieve, and to what level?
• Do you have specific wishes with regard to the training courses?
• Which communication skills do you want to train, and in which business context?
• What is your preferred teaching method?

The intake process consists of an interview in the target language and a computer-adaptive language test (usually online). If writing skills was pinpointed as an area requiring special attention, the intake process will also include a writing assignment. Based on the information thus obtained, we produce a needs analysis and a training recommendation, summarised in a concise, easy-to-understand intake report.

Registration

One of the Language Partners Account Managers will contact you to discuss the training program based on the intake report. Among the items for discussion:

• location: in-company or at one our offices/training locations (or even abroad);
• planning: flexible (sessions spread over a period of time), intensive (crash course) or a combination of these;
• number of students: 1-on-1 training or group training (max. 8 students);
• type of training: top coaching, tailored training, open group training, workshop;
• Language Partners Online: face-to-face training courses or Blended Learning.

Based on these specifications, Language Partners prepares a detailed and itemised price quotation.

Training courses in the target language and online

As a student, you will work mainly in the target language, focusing only on relevant topics and skills. You will use both carefully selected course material and texts from your own working environment (letters, company information, reports, etc.). Furthermore, you will have access to the e-learning exercises or the Blended Learning exercises on Language Partners Online.

Permanent evaluations

Language Partners does not compromise on quality. That is why we continually assess our services against the standards set to ensure that our language training courses and coaching methods meet your expectations. We do that orally at the start of the course and at the end of each session, and by means of a short online questionnaire midway through and after the completion of the courses. The client will have online access to these latter evaluations by the students, as well as to the final report written by the trainer(s). This final report includes information on the training, including student attendance, commitment and progress.

Certificate and After-care

The final report always contains advice on how to keep the skills acquired alive and honed. If students have a satisfactory attendance record, they will receive a certificate of attendance. A few months after the completion of the course, Language Partners will contact you to assess whether the training has delivered the desired result in everyday work.
