Business language courses for every level

With Language Partners you can take business language courses at every level in common business languages such as Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. However, Language Partners also provides courses in more exotic languages through our intensive partnership with the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT – Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen). The levels of the Language Partners' language courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF).

Essentials

The Essentials language course is designed for those with little or no knowledge of the language concerned, focusing entirely on basic skills. After taking the Essentials course, you are ready to hold conversations and write short messages on familiar topics. To summarise, the features of Essentials courses are as follows:

• After the course, your vocabulary will contain the most common words on familiar topics
• You can read simple sentences and extract information from simple texts
• You can hold simple conversations and write short messages

Advanced

The Advanced language course enables you to maintain a certain level of social and professional relations in the language of your choice. You are not only able to read newspapers and weeklies, you will also be able to talk and write in some detail about topics from the media and daily life. The Advanced language course has the following characteristics:

• After the course you will have an extensive, rich vocabulary
• You will be able to read fairly complex texts and talk about them in detail
• You will be able to hold fairly complex conversations and write detailed texts
• You will be able to communicate socially and professionally using appropriate etiquette

Professional

If your ambitions go beyond maintaining social relations, Language Partners offers you the Professional language course. This course does not only aim to perfect your vocabulary, spelling and grammar. It also covers various writing and speaking styles and provides an introduction to structured argumentation. The Professional language course has the following characteristics:

• You will be able to communicate socially and professionally using appropriate etiquette
• You will perfect your knowledge of spelling and grammar
• You will be able to apply different writing and speaking styles appropriately
• You will be able to recognise and analyse the structure of an argument
