It is very important to us that we get to know your company, your products and your services through your web site, your brochures and any existing documentation you may have in the target language(s). This enables us to familiarise ourselves with your style and terminology and to get fully prepared for your translation projects.

Your translations in your own words

Every sector has its own jargon, every company its own terminology. At Language Partners we use the SDL Trados terminology tools to create and manage industry- and client-specific terminology databases. Our experience in various sectors has enabled us to compile comprehensive glossaries for specific sectors (finance, insurance, human resources etc.). In addition we maintain a database of the specific terms used at your company or organisation. Your preferred terms are then automatically suggested to our translators and editors during their translation work, improving the accuracy and consistency of our translations.

Consistency, fast turnaround and cost-effectiveness

The SDL Trados software suite also enables us to store your sentences and their translated counterparts in a so-called translation memory. If you need to update certain documents or if you wish to have documents with repetitive contents translated, we can re-use these stored translations and never have to translate the same sentence twice. In addition to guaranteeing consistency in your translated documentation, these tools thus enable us to enhance our productivity and to maximise our cost-effectiveness.
